The two final stops of my holiday travel were London and Bath. The winter weather was rather pleasant during my trip so I walked as much as I could and enjoyed the city streets, architecture and monuments. I didn’t take nearly as many pictures during this trip, but I’ll share a few of my favorite shots. Of the many things I didn’t photograph, I particularly remember walking through and eating / drinking all sorts of yummy things at Camden and Greenwich Markets, enjoying a concert at St. Martin in the Fields and having a fantastic Sunday brunch at Sally Lunn’s in Bath.
Westminster Abbey – evening shot. I decided against waiting in a long to pay for admission. Instead, I attended a vesper service in the evening and, while only I saw a bit of the inside, I think I was able to get a truer view of this magnificent church.
Buckingham Palace – remarkably quiet one morning. I braved the crowds the following day to see the Changing of the Guard. It was beyond crowded and I had a limited view but something I will always remember, in particular listening to the band play snippets from Chicago and Les Misérables.
